Abstract

|
There are 2 Jehovah``s witness patients who would be scheduled to gingival cancer operation and total hip replacement. Generally in Jehovah``s witness patients refuse transfusion of blood or blood products. In these groups, we need to focus on how can we maintain patient``s hemoglobin and hematocrit levels without transfusion. So we use acute normovolemic hemodilution which used in these patients who can``t take transfusion.
